CONSENT TO OPERATE THE INDUSTRIES

For expeditious disposal and effective regulation the power to renew consent to operate for industries having investment less than 60 lakhs and not coming under 17 categories of highly polluting type was delegated to the Regional Officers. It was brought to the notice of all the small scale industrial units having fixed capital investment of less than 60 lakhs and not coming under 17 categories of highly polluting type that they shall submit applications to the respective Head Office/ Regional Office of the Board with effect from 1.4.2002. The jurisdiction of the Head Office/ Regional Offices is as follows:
