|
(I) Field observation: Approximate depth of main river, colour, intensity, odour, visible effluent discharge and human activities around station. |
|
(II) Physico-chemical and bacteriological Parameters (8 parameters): pH, Electrical conductivity, Dissolved Oxygen, Biological Oxygen Demand, Nitrate-N, Ammonical nitrogen, Total coliform and Fecal coliform. |
|
(III) Biomonitoring: Saprobity index and Diversity index at selected stations on quarterly basis. |

Turbidity, Total suspended solids, Total dissolved solids, Fixed dissolved solids, P-alkalinity, M-alkalinity, Chloride, Sulphate, Phosphate, Fluoride, Chemical Oxygen Demand, Total Kjeldahl nitrogen, Ammonia, Hardness, Calcium, Magnesium, Sodium, Potassium and Boron. |
